A continuous pattern forms in time and space (2025) blends image, prose, and poetry to explore the primordial geometries and patterns underlying our individual existence in positive space—a means to elucidate the negative beyond the grids of time and the boundaries of space: from the personal to the universal, the micro to the macro.

The interplay between our positive existence and the negative external exemplifies a symmetrical counterpoint—the inner workings of an inherent duality; as relative degrees of contrast become a continuous feedback loop, provoking the cyclical nature of change and progression, we transcend beyond previous patterns to attain a greater degree of subjective perfection.

Every image leads into the next in a carousel manner—thus illustrating the cyclical and continuous nature of patterns while remaining a standalone image. The cover image unifies the accordion panel as the pattern “completes" by circling back to the beginning. Likewise, assembled on the reverse side of the images, the lyric essay runs in tandem; every paragraph exists as a standalone idea that continues, in parallel to the continuous geometric patterns, before circling back to the beginning.

Bound in an accordion book form, the pages can be assembled into a sculptural eight-angled star polygon, an open concertina book form, or simply viewed as a flat-bound book, where either the images or text can be read from left to right or right to left.
